Come hear a fascinating talk moderated by James Molesworth, Wine Spectator’s Senior Editor and Special Projects Director, NY to learn about the different ways Burgess Cellars, Chimney Rock Winery, Matthiasson and Trois Noix are working with each other and other community organizations. From environmental innovations in the vineyards and wineries to collaborations that encourage diversity and equity in their teams and tasting rooms, they are making Napa Valley a better place to live, work and play.
Then enjoy their delectable wines paired with a dinner prepared by Michelin one-Starred Chef Gerald Sombright and Executive Chef Casey Thompson of Folktable in Sonoma, who met as participants of TV’s Top Chef.
Chef Sombright rose to fame on the popular show in 2016, when he was opening chef of Ario at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort. Among others, he has worked at Cielo; Chef Michael Mina’s Wit and Wisdom; and PBG in Orlando. As a Top Chef finalist and “fan favorite,” Chef Thompson now guides Folktable, honored with the Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2021, for its creative, comforting dishes emphasizing the natural flavors of the ingredients.
